Faya Foundation – First Anniversary

Faya's participation in TEDx Baghdad 2022
After we were invited by the Shifa Platform to TEDx Baghdad, with the attendance of the platform’s representative Dr. Aya, and under the patronage and presence of the Honorable Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani, a large and impressive audience interested in the field of Information Technology was welcomed. During the event, the company presented its most prominent software achievements that have succeeded at the Iraq-wide level, including: Shifa Medical Platform: the first platform in Iraq that enables communication with doctors from all over the world, with the ability to book appointments or consultation sessions for medical examination and subsequent treatment. The platform includes a feature for verifying doctors’ certifications before they are added, along with many other features. It is currently being used by a large number of people.
Under the sponsorship of Faya Software Solutions, the “Aon” Program was launched.
In its first and second seasons, the program aims to support Iraqi youth by providing them with opportunities to develop their skills and achieve their ambitions in the programming field. The opening ceremony of the second season featured several distinguished segments, including the distribution of certificates to participants of the first season, in recognition of their efforts and achievements.

Faya at the DTI Youth Conference
Over the past few days, the Faya team was proudly present at the DTI Conference, which brought together a select group of creative young people and entrepreneurs from across Iraq and the world! A glimpse of the Ramadan dessert session (the programmers' session).
In this session, we learned about the speakers' experiences in programming and the challenges they faced. We shared conversations about programming languages, how to create websites, and the libraries used in this field. We also learned about artificial intelligence and its application in programming. The session was filled with insightful details and active participation from the attendees.
